UK Gas Market Review 2009
The Energy Contract Company's UK Gas Market Review has been published since 1996. It has a unique track record in accurately predicting changes in the market. For example the 2004 Review was one of the first publications to identify the current over-supply in the UK. In 2006, we predicted the current decline in prices. The 2008 Review was one of the first publications to forecast the recent decline in gas prices.
The gas industry in Britain is going through a period of turmoil with many changes in the traded market and massive changes in price. This will have profound implications, both for the market and the future level of prices. These changes will be analysed in depth in the 2009 UK Gas Market Review.
The UK Gas Market Review analyses the UK gas market and its predicted direction and is sold to many of the leading companies in the European gas and electricity industries.

2008 Gas Market Review in the News
The Gas Market review featured in an article in the ICIS Heren publication European Spot Gas Markets on 2 October 2008, looking at the potential for oversupply to the UK gas market.
On 3 October 2008, ECC Managing Director Niall Trimble was quoted in a Financial Times report on the possibility of a drop in gas prices, saying "There is quite significant potential for a fall in prices, because the UK market now looks overpriced relative to the rest of Europe".
