Pino ter Gast is an associate consultant at the Energy Contract Company and has over 30 years experience in the energy sector. Formerly the Gas Purchasing Director at Gasunie, Pino was responsible for all gas purchases for Gasunie - successfully negotiating many major gas importation and supply contracts. Additionally Pino has extensive experience, at the highest level, in transportation and strategic co-operation agreements between multi-national energy majors.
Pino specialises in gas contracts and strategy and is frequently requested to act as an expert witness in contract disputes and providing expert advice to multi-national energy majors.
He is a reserve officer (retired) in the Dutch cavalry and holds a masters degree in economics from the University of Amsterdam. He started his career in Shell in 1970, in automotive retail in Argentina and Paraguay, and was seconded to NV Nederlandse Gasunie in 1976.
