Upstream

ECC has been successfully involved in the development of many complex upstream commercial arrangements, including:

  • Lead commercial role for the negotiation and evaluation of liquids export options for redevelopment of a major Norwegian field
  • Acting as the commercial director for a mid-sized oil company with the lead role in the development of all the agreements for board sanction for a major Algerian development
  • Currently insourced into OMV to lead its commercial activity for a major new North Sea gas pipeline
  • Acting as insourced commercial director to an E&P company looking to develop a strategic position in Northern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East
  • Establishing the principles for third party access for an African processing facility
  • Advising the owners of a new North Sea development regarding third party access to existing infrastructure and developing terms with competing infrastructure owners
  • Insourced as commercial manager to the operator, ECC concluded the upstream agreements for the Indonesian Muturi concession development
  • Commercial management role (ongoing) for the Triton FPSO including redevelopment of the operating agreement and providing additional advice to an owner of another FPSO under development
  • Providing strategic & tactical advice and transactional support, including advice on third party tariffing, for a Tunisian development
  • Lead role in the negotiation of the North Sea Atlantic and Cromarty fields commercial agreements on behalf of one of the owners. This advice covered the JV services, transportation, processing, measurement & allocation agreements
  • Responsible for securing Southern North Sea transportation and operating service agreements for a field development
  • Negotiating agreements related to the acquisition and development of a storage business
